WHERE THE GRASS IS GREENER EXCLUSIVE COVER REVEAL!!

HEY THERE FRIENDS, I HAVE A SURPRISE COVER REVEAL FOR YOU, AND I AM SO EXCITED! YOU ASKED FOR A BOOK ABOUT SEAMUS, PATRICK FROM LEAVING FLOWERS, BROTHER, AND BOY DID THEY DELIVER! I HAVE THE BLURB, COVER, AND I MIGHT EVEN HAVE A LITTLE EXCERPT (OR TWO) OF 'WHERE THE GRASS IS GREENER', ;) SO LET'S GET TO IT:

Publication planned for September 28th 2015

THE BLURB:

Mistakes were made, that’s for sure. But was it the night of passion? Or walking away afterward?

That’s the question Seamus Williams must face when he gets a late night phone call from someone he never expects to hear from again.

“I miss you, Shay.”

Chancey Bo Clearwater is a cowboy through and through. He spends his days finding work on whatever ranch will take him and his nights at the pool hall. He’s always done what needed doing and never thought much about what he wanted. ‘Til that drunken night with Seamus.

A world of problems now stand between Seamus and Chancey exploring what might have been, the least of which being the Atlantic Ocean. On one side there’s Chancey’s daughter who mood swings from angel to demon in two seconds flat; on the other there’s the new lodger, hogging Shay’s telly and his cornflakes, and making private Skype time hard to come by.

Is this relationship doomed before it ever begins? Or can a surprise announcement from Seamus’s brother be enough to help the two find their second chance?

Where the Grass is Greener is book two of the Leaving Flowers Series, but can be read independently of the first novel.

THE A-MAZING COVER:

SEAMUS EXCERPT:

Chance, I…” Have no defence. The words seemed to dance in the air, wispy imps laughing, jabbing their fingers in accusation. “You knew I was planning to come back sometime,” Seamus justified. Even to him it sounded like bullshit.
You always said you would,” Chancey agreed. His tone was cool and dismissive, still a punch in the gut that sent Seamus sprawling back against the sofa, panting for breath.

How did it come to this? And what was this anyway? He’d thought—no—he’d assumed Chancey didn’t want anything to do with him after what happened between them. They were drunk, which was no excuse, but it wouldn’t have happened if they’d been sober, knowing that the morning after they’d both be back at work, acting as if nothing had changed, when in reality everything had.
Where Seamus had once accused Chancey of sullenness, now he saw deep and moody. Wrinkles became laughter lines, the glare morphed into a glint, and the middle-aged cattle herder with the wire-wool stubble and unwashed, uncombed mop of greasy hair transformed into a hard-working, weathered and hot-as-hell-itself cowboy.

There was no mistaking those memories as a mere figment of his imagination. Seamus didn’t even have to work at it to remember…the smell, the taste, the all-consuming everything of Chancey’s body against his. First the kiss, rough, hard, whiskers scratching and burning at his chin, his neck, a scorching trail of hot breath, shirts unbuttoned, the broad, hairy chest tickling light touch, push-push, denim-clad cocks rutting, demanding liberty, back-stepping up onto the porch, through the door… And then Chancey in his bed, laughing at the tangle of legs and sheets and lips and tongues, slipping and sliding in sweat and ecstasy, tequila and tobacco intoxication taking them down, down, deep into each other…

Ah, the gift of living alone, to be sitting on the sofa in nothing but underwear and with a boner that could hold up a big top. Seamus laughed quietly at himself, but not quietly enough.
What’s funny?” Chancey asked.
Nothing really. I was just thinking about…” Seamus paused, listening to Chancey greet his daughter, grateful for the momentary reprieve. He had no more than a few seconds in which to make his decision, and it was a life-changer.
Hold on, Dee.” The muffled voice became clear again. “I gotta go, Shay.”
All right, but can I just say…I’m sorry. I should’ve said goodbye, but you and me, well, I thought…” We meant nothin’… “Anyway, that’s all really.”
Apology accepted.”
I’m gonna get your Skype thing and call you, if that’s OK?”
More than.”
Great. You take care now. Love to Dee.”
Seamus hit ‘end call’ and sighed heavily in relief, a weight taken off his mind that he hadn’t been aware was there. Now to deal with the other matter…

OH MAN, THIS IS AWESOME SO FAR RIGHT? WELL CHECK OUT CHANCEY'S EXCERPT:

That was Kaylee Star, always singing about some lost love that may or may not be real. She did all right for herself, considering. She wasn’t ever going to be a Dolly or a Reba, but sometimes her songs made it on the radio and sometimes she opened for second-tier country acts. She made enough of a living to keep doing what she did, at least.

I like this one,” Dee said, half-humming along with the impassioned chorus. “You think she’s singing about us?”
It was a joke and Deidra didn’t even try to hide the mischievous grin on her face. She knew the song wasn’t about them.
Before the song had finished, Dee pulled on the cord and the bud popped out of his ear. It was a pretty good tune, he thought.
I made you some M and C.”
I see that.”
Can I sleep over at Stills’s this weekend?”
Getting an early jump on practice?”
Stills’s mother had been their riding and roping coach since both girls were barely able to mount their ponies.
Yep. We need to practice for Emporia,” she agreed. “So is it okay?”
If Mrs. Stills says it’s all right.”
You know she’s fine with it.”

Well, there was truth to that. If there was anyone more driven to win on God’s green earth, Chancey wanted to meet them and then introduce them to Mrs. Stills who would promptly win at wanting to win.
Chancey eased himself down in the chair, feeling every bone in his body creak. He needed a nice hot bath, scrub away three layers of the caked-on dirt, and he might see skin underneath. He shovelled a forkful of the macaroni into his mouth and groaned. He wasn’t putting it on for Dee; just then, it was absolutely heaven.

Oh, and someone called for you.”
Who?” he asked, only half listening because of the distracting love affair he was having with the macaroni.
Dunno,” she said. “It was on your cell phone. I didn’t answer it. But it was a weird ring—”
He had left that, hadn’t he?
“—like maybe they were using Skype or something.”
Seamus.
Well, he’d said he would call.
Thanks.”
He ate just a little bit faster.
<<< >>>
Uh, Chance?”
Hmm?”
Well, it’s weird—it said video call and so I accepted, but I only see a black screen?”
Video call? Chancey had tried to seem nonchalant as he took his phone back to the privacy of his bedroom, but there was a spark of excitement building in his chest at the thought of talking to Shay again.
Pulling the phone back curiously, Chancey was startled—but pleased—to see Seamus’s face, a little too close and staring hard at the bottom right corner. Quite a bit younger than Chancey, Seamus still had faint creases around his hazel eyes, that came from laughing loudly and unabashedly at anything that pleased him. It made him look a bit older than he was.

Uh…hello there,” he said huskily. “It’s nice to see you again, Shay.”
And God knew it was. His face was comfortably familiar and yet, somehow new. His strong jaw, bearded in hair much brighter red than the auburn mop on top of his head, and a wholly different shade than his dark brows. Pale skin with a few freckles here and there. And full…pink…lips…

Everything that was happening was like a storm. Sirens going off, take shelter, a tornado is coming! And it was dark and wild and passionate and frightening as hell, but those lips were safety and so Chancey kissed them and kissed them and kissed them, and Shay kissed him back until they were even more drunk on each other than they were on the alcohol. Bring it on F5, I’m not afraid of you or this moment.
